Placemat Swap

I'm so excited to making placemats for Katherine. We are making placemats for each other's children. I'm making 2 for her boys and she's making 2 for my kiddos, Miss B and Superhero C. (those are now their blog names - dorky, I know).

The picture is actually a doll quilt for Katherine's little girl because she just can't be left out and I now love making these hexagons.

Of course, I can't take all of the credit. I wouldn't get anything done if I didn't have my go to person - my mom! What I thought was a cold turned into the flu so as always, she's behind the scenes taking care of my quilting obligations. Thanks mom!

Just wait till you see the finished doll quilt - it is fantastic and we have a little surprise planned also.

Heading back to bed to watch HULU and make more hexagons!
